When Nations Meet: an evening of Belgian music. Ranging from vintage wind repertoire to popular songs and contemporary creations. Led by Maestro Robert Casteels, this concert features the Singapore premiere of From Ancient Time by Jan Van der Roost and culminates in the world premiere of Symphony nr 6 by our Belgium-born Singaporean composer-conductor himself. Also joining us on stage are Soprano Tanya Sen, who will be singing 5 favourite songs in French and Flemish arranged specially for this concert, and solo trombonist Sam Armstrong performing Colors for Trombone and Band by Bert Appermont.
