The Philharmonic Wind Orchestra marks a milestone in its journey with FIREBIRD: 25th Anniversary Gala Concert, held on 9 November 2025, at the Esplanade Concert Hall. Under the theme “Celebrating legacies, milestones, and friendships through music that shaped us,” this special evening showcases a tapestry of works that reflect PWO’s artistic spirit over the past quarter-century. From the evocative lyricism of Strauss’ Allerseelen to the intoxicating energy of Schmitt’s Dionysiaques, and from the grandeur of Leong Yoon Pin’s Giocoso Largamente to the vivid storytelling in Alarcón’s Marco Polo: The Silk Road, the program culminates in the fiery brilliance of Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.
Join us as we celebrate 25 years of music-making, community, and passion— a journey that continues to burn brightly into the future.
